This example shows snap on model editing.

This example starts with a 1 meter cube. You have just learned that the z-axis is no longer 1 meter, but only .8.

Edit one side of a vertical surface by changing 1 meter to .8 on the form.

    1. Start by selecting on one of the vertical faces.
    2. Selecting Edit will bring up the information for that surface.
    3. Switch to the surface page and input the Y Max to be .8.
    4. The surface is changed. The display active side button is selected to highlight the geometry change. We then switch back to wireframe.
    5. Change the other 3 vertical sides by selecting and manipulating grip points.

    6. Selecting another vertical surface, the blue icons appear (grip points). The user then selects the farthest out icon (highlights red), and then selects a point that shrinks down that axis as shown.
    7. Step 1 is repeated for the other two vertical surfaces.

Finally, the top surface is selected. Selecting the grip point at the origin of the surface and then selecting the point to move the surface to completes the resizing of the box.
